Spring is mostly here and my allergies know it. This project is easy DIY Spring Decor that won’t make you sneeze. We’re making bunny carrot decor from Easter themed jump rope – SO cute!! The cost of each carrot is about $1.50 and worth every affordable penny!! (they pair perfectly with these Bunny Napkin Rings). Click here and here for a video how-to…Let’s get started!

Materials:

Carrot Handle Jump Rope (Dollar Stores or Online – $1-2)

Brown Art Paint

Small Paint Brush

Faux Greenery

Hot Glue

How-To:

Begin by cutting jump rope from top of carrots. Save the rope for another project.

Brush a tiny bit of brown paint into the lines/indentions of the carrots to add just from the garden authenticity.

Once you’ve painted the carrot, lightly wipe it with a paper towel to remove some of the paint and smear it just a little bit.

Let the paint dry and then add pieces of faux greenery into the top hole on the carrot where the rope once was. Secure it with hot or regular glue.

Fill a basket with your Bunny Carrots for a lovely Easter centerpiece or to brighten your home or door step! This DIY Spring Decor is affordable and makes everyone ”hoppy!”
